FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are considering booking me as your Calligrapher for your wedding or event? Not sure how it works? Peep over to the FAQs to know a little bit more on the process from booking to having your final signage on your wedding or event.

LOCATION

Q. Where are you located?

A. I am located in Vacaville, CA and service throughout the Sacramento region and the greater Bay Area

BOOKING PROCESS

Q. How can I book you for my wedding?

A. You can book me through my "Contact" page.

Q. How far in advance do I need to book you?

A. I book at least 3 months in advance. This allows me to put together your mock-up, create and finalize your signs, and provide them to you in a timely manner.

Q. What happens if I book your services less than 3 months from my wedding?

A. If this is the case, I would consider this as a rush order and additional charges will apply as I will need to make adjustments to other projects in order to provide your signage on time. Booking with me at least 3 months before your wedding will provide me with enough time to plan and work on your signs with you. 

Q. Do you create signs for other events?

A. Not at this time. My focus is on wedding signage.

MINIMUM, DEPOSITS, AND PAYMENT

Q. Do you have a minimum?

A. My minimum is $750 before tax

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. I require 50% of your total as the deposit and it is non-refundable. Your deposit allows your date to be locked from any other bookings that may come up.

Q. How soon do you need the payment?

A. Payments are cut in half: 50% for the deposit and the other 50% will be before you receive your signage. I have an automated system that provide you payment reminders so please keep an eye on your email. You can choose to pay in full as well.

SERVICES

Q. Do you offer mock-ups?

A. You will receive 2 mock-ups as soon as you determine what you would like your signage to look like

  1. I’ll put together a rough draft that based on the initial information you’ve provided me. I then send this mock-up to back to you for your feedback. Feedbacks are required back no later than 7 days.

  2. A final draft is the exact look of the signage that you should expect to see on your wedding day. This includes layout, signage shapes, colors, and illustrations.

Q. Do you offer rentals?

A. All my rentals are available through my rental inventory. Rentals are only for colored acrylic, mirrors, easels, and stands.

Q. Do you deliver?

A. Yes, I charge $1 per mile for delivery and pick-up service. I can only deliver and pick-up during the weekends.

Q. Do you ship signs?

A. Yes, I do. I will provide the receipt of the shipping cost to your preferred address and the cost of the return label. Once signs are shipped out, I am not responsible for any damages or lost or stolen items that happen during transit and delivery. Please file a complaint through USPS. Any items that come back damaged to me will be subject to a damage/repair fee.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURN POLICY

Q. What is your cancellation/return policy?

A. In the event you need to cancel, please reach out to me as soon as possible. Once I've completed signs by the time you cancel, unfortunately, you are responsible to pay for them. If signs are still not complete, I will only require the non-refundable deposit. I will provide proof that signs are complete in order to keep transparency.

RENTALS 

Q. Do you offer rentals?

A. Yes, I do. I offer rentals for the following items: white, black, and frosted acrylics, gold mirrors, easels, wooden bases, and acrylic bases. Please reach out if you are looking for rental sizes. 

Q. Do you have pictures of your rentals? 

A. Yes, I do. You can find them through my Rental Inventory

Q. How do I request rentals from you?

A. You can request a rental through my "Contact" page and it is a first come first serve basis. Couples who have placed their deposit and signed their contract will have first choice on their rentals. 

Q. What is your policy on receiving and returning rentals?

A. You will receive your rentals one week prior to your wedding day. You have up to 3 days to keep your rental. If an extension is needed, please reach out to me ASAP. Otherwise, additional charges will apply until I receieve the rentals. 

 

Q. How much are your rentals?

A. Price of rentals vary. This price is separate from my Calligraphy services. All rentals however, come with a Rental Fee that includes cleaning and upkeep of rentals so that future couples can enjoy them too. 

Q. Do you have any rental restrictions?

A. Rentals are only available to those requesting for my Calligraphy services. They are not available for other weddings or events in which my calligraphy is not paired with rentals.
